With the holiday season approaching, there are lots of events to attend in the month of November. Check out these events and see which ones you want to attend.

2018 Fresno Film Festival

Details: It’s not too late to get tickets to the 2018 Fresno Film Festival. It will feature seven exclusive feature-length movies with special filmmaker appearances, social gatherings, and Q&A discussions.
When: November 2-4 – See schedule here

Cost: Ranges from $8-$50 depending on how many films you want to see.

Fresno Fall Home Improvement Show

Details: The Fresno Fall Home Improvement Show now features a Tiny House Expo! See how to live in a tiny house, where they are permitted, and ways to maximize space.
When: Friday, November 2nd, Saturday, November 3rd, & Sunday, November 4th from 10:00am to 5:00pm
Where: Fresno Fairgrounds – 1121 S Chance Ave, Fresno, CA 93702
Cost: Adults – $8; Kids 12 and under are free; Senior, 60 & over – $4
There are two lots available for parking – Chance Avenue and Kings Canyon – $8

Pinnacle Pup Run

Details: The Pinnacle Pup Run is a timed 5-mile & 2-mile race open to people and dogs of any age! Pinnacle continues the tradition of bringing recognition to all the animal shelters that strive to find every pup in the valley a good home. Join us in giving back and helping support the Fresno Valley’s local non-kill shelters by signing up for a 5-mile run or a 2-mile run/walk.
When: Saturday, November 10th
Where: Woodward Park – 7775 N Friant Road, Fresno, CA 93720
Cost: $30 before November 9th; $35 after November 9th

Kearney Park Renaissance Fair

Details: Watch historical Medieval Battles, enjoy the artisan marketplace, and try fine fair dining complete with beer and mead.
When: November 10th & 11th; 10:00am-8:00pm
Where: Kearney Park – 6725 W Kearney Blvd, Fresno, California 93706
Cost: Adults – $15; Students/Military/Seniors – $10

Zoobilation

Details: Zoobilation is a party with exclusive activities for Fresno Chaffee Zoo Members! Activities include Stingray Bay, open house behind-the-scenes tours of animal areas, 20% discount at the Safari Trading Co. gift shop, Safari Cafe, and Kopje Lodge, FREE Producers® ice cream in Canopy Grove, and live music and entertainment.
When: November 17 @ 10:00am
Where: Fresno Chaffee Zoo
Cost: Members: Adults – $30; Children (2-11) – $25; Children 1 and under – FREE
Guest of members can purchase tickets for the same prices at the admission booth the day of the event.

Women’s Art and Music Festival

Details: The Women’s Art and Music Festival of Fresno is dedicated to enriching and supporting female artists while celebrating the creative force that lives inside every woman. Enjoy this eclectic showing of arts created by local female artists and made accessible to all people of all ages.
When: Sunday, November 18 from 3:00pm-6:00pm
Where: 809 E. Olive Avenue, Fresno, CA 93728
Cost: Adult – $12; Children 12 and under are FREE

The Lion King on Broadway

Details: The Lion King on Broadway comes to Fresno this November. This visually stunning, technically astounding show has a musical score like none other you’ve ever heard.
When: Nov 28 – 7:30pm; Nov 29 – 2:00pm & 7:30pm; Nov 30 – 8:00pm (See December dates here)
Where: Saroyan Theatre – 700 M Street, Fresno, CA
Cost: Prices range from $39-$129+
