Fall is here, and with the weather cooling down (soon) that means it’s time for tons of different activities and events for the whole family. From the fair to pumpkin patches to cozy places to grab a warm drink, there is something to do in Fresno during fall for the whole family. Here is our ultimate list of fall activities in Fresno.
Fall Events in Fresno
The Big Fresno Fair
If you’re a Fresno native, you know that the Big Fresno Fair is one of the biggest events of the year! Grab a yummy treat, see a concert, watch the horse races, or shop one of the many vendors during this week long event from October 4th – 15th.
Scottish Gathering and Games
Celebrate Scottish heritage and culture with the Annual Scottish Gathering and Games. There will be music, food, shopping, and even live medieval battle demonstrations. This event happens September 16th.
Kearney Park Renaissance Faire
This annual faire brings you back to the 1500s with food, shopping, and live events all weekend long from November 11th – 12th! Experience two entertainment stages, jousting, an armored battle, and meet King Henry VIII.
ZooBoo
Come experience the Fresno Chaffee Zoo with a spooky twist! Treats for the littles, pumpkins, a pirate ship, and of course… adorable animals! The ZooBoo lasts from October 12th to the 28th.
Bully Boo Walk
Love to dress up your pup? Come bring them to the annual BullyBoo Walk! This event is not limited to only bully breeds, and it’s a great way to get your pup some exercise while showing off their best costumes. There is also doggy trick-or-treating, vendors, and a costume contest.

Pumpkin King
Visit the Pumpkin King Pumpkin Patch! You can not only pick the perfect pumpkin, but there are also tons of activities and vendors for you to enjoy with your family.

Planet Pumpkin
Planet Pumpkin is a truly unique pumpkin patch experience. There are rides, food vendors, sweets, face painting, and of course, pumpkins!

LoMac Pumpkin Patch
Pick a pumpkin straight from the vine at the LoMac Pumpkin Patch!

Hillcrest Pumpkin Patch
Want to go on a hay ride or a steam train ride before you pick your pumpkin? Check out Hillcrest Farms! It’s a gorgeous ranch, that’s a popular spot for field trips. No scary monsters here, this pumpkin patch is suitable for all ages.

Sweet Thistle Farms & Rocky Oaks Goat Creamery
Discover 17 unique pumpkin varieties, enjoy hay rides and photo opportunities, taste delicious cheeses from the farm’s animals, savor mouthwatering food, and browse various vendors across the property at Sweet Thistle Farms and Rock Oaks Goat Creamery.

Fresno Haunted Houses, Corn Mazes, and Hay Rides
Hobbs Grove
Hobb’s Grove is one of the most popular places to go in Fresno during Halloween. The most popular attractions at Hobb’s Grove are the Haunted Hayride, Haunted House, and the Haunted Forest. However, the Midway also offers food, music, concessions, shopping, and even tarot and palm reading! You’ll also see fun characters walking around or hanging out around the fire pits.
Raisin Hell Ranch
Raisin Hell Ranch is not for the faint of heart. If you have kids 13 and up who are looking for a scarier place to go this Halloween, this may be the place for you! Raisin Hell Ranch claims to be the scariest haunt in the Valley, so enter at your own risk! They have two haunted cornfields to choose from, Deadwood and Sinister.
13 Shadows
13 Shadows is a haunted house located off on North Blackstone. As you walk through this haunted house, each room will have fun scares as well as a haunting folk story to go with it!

Component Coffee
Formerly known as The Revue, this cozy Tower District coffee shop is the perfect place to get a warm coffee or tea, or pick up a yummy bakery treat.

Bespoke Lounge
A new addition to the Modernist, the Bespoke Cocktail Lounge is a reservation-only lounge where you can get a customized drink. Bespoke doesn’t do menus, instead, you tell the bartenders the flavors you like, and they will make you a custom drink that’s perfectly suited to your tastes.

The Howlin’ Wolf
