Looking for a new furry family member? These places in Fresno and Clovis offer low-cost adoption fees, and a few of them even have free adoption events! These cats and dogs are ready to adopt and most are up-to-date on their vaccinations, microchipped, and spayed or neutered.
Miss Winkles offers both cats and dogs for you to adopt for a small adoption fee. They have a large play yard for the pets to play in, and take excellent care of their adoptable animals. Each adoption includes spay/neuter, vaccinations, and microchip. Miss Winkles is open for walk-ins Tuesday – Sunday from 1 PM to 5 PM.

The Fresno Bully Rescue is a wonderful organization that has many different “bully” breeds available for adoption. “Bully” breeds include: American Pit Bull Terriers, Bull Terriers, Bullmastiffs, Staffordshire Terriers, Boston Terriers, Boxers, English Bulldogs and French Bulldogs. Their adoption fees range from $185 for senior dogs to $300 for puppies. Each adoption includes spay/neuter, vaccinations, microchip, de-worming medication (as needed), and flea/tick treatment for adult dogs.

Fresno Humane Animal Services not only has tons of adorable dogs and cats to choose from, but they also focus on helping lost pets make their way back to their families. Their adoption fees are $125 for dogs and $75 for cats. They’re open Monday – Saturday from 10am – 4pm for walk-in adoptions. Adoptions include spay/neuter, vaccinations, flea/tick treatment, and microchips.

Valley Animal Center has a wonderful adoption event happening now where you can adopt a furry friend for $25 for adult cats and dogs and $50 for kittens and puppies! Outside of this event, their adoption fees are $120 for kittens, $100 for adult cats, $200 for puppies, and $180 for adult dogs. Adoptions include spay/neuter, vaccinations, deworm, flea/tick treatment, and microchip.

Animal Rescue of Fresno, also known as ARF, is a great place to adopt a dog! Their adoption fees range from $225 to $250. Their pets come spayed/neutered and vaccinated.

At the Central California SPCA, you can adopt more than just cats and dogs. You can also adopt barn animals like horses, pigs, sheep, and goats or small pets like rabbits, hamsters, guinea pigs, birds, and turtles! Their pets come with spay/neuter, vaccinations, microchips, and flea/tick applications.

The Animal Compassion Team, or ACT, offers both cats and dogs for adoption. Their adoption fees are $200 for dogs 5 months and older, $250 for dogs 5 months and younger, and cats/kittens are $75. All adoptions include spay/neuter, vaccinations, microchip, dewormer, and flea/tick medication.
