A New Way to Be Social: The Backyard Social Club Opens in Clovis

Looking for a new place to get a drink, a bite to eat, and experience live music? Check out the new bar in Clovis, The Backyard Social Club. Once a house in Old Town Clovis, this new bar has been renovated into an eclectic hangout space. Our favorite thing about this new spot is the huge backyard and patio that’s perfect for social gatherings or catching a local musician’s show.

Location and Hours

The Backyard Social Club is located at 1542 Clovis Ave, Clovis, CA 93612. It’s right on Clovis Avenue between Barstow and Shaw, located near the La Quinta Inn and the Rodeo Lodge.

The doors are open every day from 12 pm to 10 pm.

The Visionary Behind Backyard Social Club

The Backyard Social Club is the third craft bar created by Craig Johnson. Goldstein’s Mortuary and Delicatessen, a craft beer bar, and The Howlin’ Wolf, a craft cocktail bar, are also creative visions brought to life by Johnson. Both sister bars can be found in the vibrant Tower District, and both are also great places to catch some live music during the week. If you’ve ever visited one of these other bars, you know that Johnson’s creativity and innovation truly shines through in his work, which means we can expect that the Backyard Social Club is no different!
