Springfest at China Peak

Springfest at China Peak starts on March 16th with special events at China Peak Mountain Resort every weekend until closing! Check out these upcoming events and see which ones you want to attend!

March 16 – Marissa Hushaw’s Jib-Jam for Protect Our Winters

Marissa Hushaw’s Jib-Jam for POW is a snowboarding competition for all levels! Sign-ups are from 9:30-11:00am on the Daylodge Deck. The competition starts at 11:00am and awards are at 1:15pm. All proceeds will go to Protect Our Winters (POW), a non-profit organization working to build a movement against climate change.
Right after the awards ceremony the final Bang Music Series starts on the Daylodge Deck featuring The Red Coats. There will be Bang energy drink samples and beer with Sequoia Brewing Company at Jack’s Place.

March 22-24 – 805 Beer Promo Weekend

On Friday night, 805 will be in JW’s Bar up the hill. On Saturday and Sunday, they’ll be in the base area all day with games, prizes, and a band. This is a 21+ event.

March 30 – The Poker Run

The Poker Run will have cards hidden throughout the mountain. Check in at the starting table, then collect cards from different locations. Return to the starting base at 2:30pm with your final hand. Whoever has the best hand wins!

April 6 – Dummy Downhill Competition

Build a dummy to send down the hill for the Dummy Downhill Competition. There will be prizes for creativity, best crash, furthest distance, shortest distance, still intact, and best overall. Have your dummy at the bottom of the longest magic carpet by 10am to be checked in. Judging will start at 11am.
Guidelines for dummies:

  • Cannot be live
  • Must weigh less than 75 lbs
  • Cannot contain fire, explosives, or devices to propel it down the hill

April 13 – The Pond Skim

Sign-ups for The Pond Skim will be from 9am-11am in the base area. The first run will be at 12pm.

April 20 – Easter Egg Scavenger Hunt

A children’s Easter egg scavenger hunt will be held in the base area. There will be an adult scavenger hunt up on the mountain. Check SkiChinaPeak Instagram stories for clues!

April 28 – Passholder Appreciation and Projected Closing Weekend

If you’re a season pass holder, come get discount buddy tickets Happy hour beer prices all day!
