« Fresno Housing Market Most Stable in Nation

Storyland, a local 60-year old Rotary park has re-opened after a long break. They usually close for the winter and re-open in the spring. This year, the park stayed closed and was unsure if it would re-open at all. The park, while a local treasure, has not had enough resources to keep it open or well maintained. This last March, the board started a campaign to save the park, asking for public support.
The community response has been both successful and inspiring. Over the past several months, the park has been getting a much needed restoration. All of the renovations have been possible through approximately $500,000 in donations and over 1,100 people volunteering their time.
Storyland’s sister park, Playland is under rennovation as well and is scheduled to re-open this Spring.
