There are so many Halloween events to choose from each year, whether you want a nice night out with family or something a little spookier. There is something for everyone.

Family Friendly Halloween Events

Harvest Fest at Adventure Community Church

Located in the Tower District, Adventure Community Church is hosting Harvest Fest for the 7th year in a row. Over 1,000 pounds of candy will be given away. Some highlights from their event include trunk or treating, face painting, games for children of all ages.
When: October 31 at 6:00 pm

Trunk or Treat at Faith Community Church of the Nazarene

Faith Community Church of the Nazarene is holding a Trunk or Treat event for the community. There will be plenty of candy for everyone, as well as games to play. Everyone is encouraged to dress up in non-scary costumes.
When: October 31 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm
Where: 430 Peach Ave. Clovis

Trunk or Treat at NorthPointe Community Church

NorthPointe is holding a FREE, SAFE, FUN Trunk or Treat event. Families can dress up, eat candy and enjoy the season. There will also be dinner with hot dogs, pizza, nachos, and other tasty treats available. Admission is FREE!
When: October 31 from 6:00 – 8:30 pm

Valley Dream Center Trunk-or-Treat

Families are encouraged to come out to Valley Dream Center’s Trunk-or-Treat. There will be cars, vans, trucks, SUV’s, and motorcycles that are festively decorated for the season. There will be lots of candy, music, games, activities, and crafts. They are taking donations through the month of October, Monday-Thursday from 9am-4pm. Please, no scary costumes.
When: October 31 at 5:00 pm

ZooBoo

Fresno Chaffee Zoo is hosting its 17th annual ZooBoo event. This safe, non-scary event is a great way for families to enjoy Halloween. The entire Zoo will be decorated in fall decor for this event of trick-or-treating, carnival games, live entertainment, and animal attractions. There will be a hay maze and live kid-friendly music at Dracula’s Disco. Kids are encouraged to dress up in non-scary costumes.
Tickets: Members – $16 adults & $14 children (ages 2-11); Non-Members – $18 adults & $16 children (ages 2-11); Non-Member Day of Event (if available) – $20 adults & $18 children (Buy Tickets Here)

Pumpkin Carving

Each year we witness the toothy grins of the neighborhood carved pumpkins, but did you know that the first jack o’lantern was actually a turnip in Ireland? Hear this and other seasonal stories while making you own jack o’lantern – pumpkin provided! This FREE event is co-sponsored by Wuksachi Lodge.
When: October 21 & 28 from 6:00 – 7:00 pm

Billy Bob’s Pumpkin Grove

Billy Bob’s Pumpkin Grove has all kinds of entertainment for kids including the fun-filled forest, a grand-tractor pulled hayride, the corn maze, pumpkin patch, a straw bale maze, a corn kernel pit, and story time with farmer Billy Bob. Weekday Group Tours are available upon request. Call Maren at (559) 356-3962 for tour information and to schedule your weekday school or group tour.

Monster Mash Dash

The 3rd annual Monster Mash Dash is taking place this year at Woodward Park in Fresno. Wear a costume and join in the costume contest. Run a 5k and have the kids participate in the Little Monster Dash (1/4 of a mile). All donations support the Central Valley Make-A-Wish foundation. Buy tickets here!

Spooky Halloween Events

Hobb’s Grove

Hobb’s Grove gives the ultimate haunted Halloween experience. Attractions include the haunted forest, haunted house, and haunted hayride all with different elements of horror. Ticket prices vary by date. Buy tickets here!
