 Fresno and Clovis offer 2019 Halloween Events that are fun and safe for everyone!

 2nd Annual Octoddlerfest Walk for Children

Join the fun and raise support for EPU Children’s Center on the University Mall at the Fresno City College Campus. Show off your OctoddlerFest Costumes and enjoy the games. The event is free but registration is required. Parents and family members that would like to purchase a 2019 OctoddlerFest T-shirt may do so at the event $5.00 for children or $10.00 for adults.

When: Saturday, October 26th from 10am – 12pm

5th Annual Boofest

Sierra Vista Mall, Q97.1 Radio, Own a Car Fresno, Clovis Kiwanis and the Clovis Police Department are hosting Boofest again this year. Join the fun at the 5th annual Boofest and Mall-Wide Trick or Treating event. Carnival games, trunk or treat, reptiles, face painting, bounce houses, emergency vehicles, arts and crafts plus more!

When: Saturday, October 19th from 6pm – 9pm
Where: 1050 Shaw Ave., Clovis

 

Canine Carnival & Costume Contest

The Tower District Marketing Committee presents the 2019 POOCH PARADE, Canine Carnival & Costume Contest. There will be a variety of products and food vendors, family entertainment, music and plus human and dog costumes. of the Canine Costume Contest. Costume Contest Entry fee: $10. Prizes will be awarded to winners in 4 categories. Visit towerdistrict.org for more information on how to enter the costume contest.

Halloween Spooktacular

Clovis Veterans Service Organizations and Community Service Organizations have teamed up to offer a night full of ghastly games and ghoulish trick or treating for you and your family at their Halloween Spooktacular! Admission is free; however, you must register and bring your ticket, Plus, the hosts ask that you kindly bring a can of food to be donated to the Salvation Army so local families may be fed this winter.

When: Thursday, October 24th from 6pm – 9pm
Where: 808 4th Street, Clovis

 

Harley Davidson Fresno Trunk or Treat

Harley Davidson Fresno presents their annual Trunk or Treat event. Bring all the kids and dress up in your best costumes. You can also bring a car or morotorcyle to decorate but you must sign up ASAP, as there are a limited amount of spots. Harvest Fest at Adventure Community Church

Located in the Tower District, Adventure Community Church is hosting Harvest Fest for the 9th year in a row. Over 1,000 pounds of candy will be given away. Some highlights from their event include trunk or treating, face painting, games for children of all ages. It’s family-friendly.

Trunk or Treat at NorthPointe Community Church

NorthPointe is holding a family-friendly FREE, SAFE and FUN, Trunk or Treat event. Dress up, eat candy and enjoy the season! You can also enjoy dinner: hot dogs, pizza, nachos and other tasty treats available.

When: Thursday, October 31st from 6:00 – 8:30 pm

Weekend Pumpkin Patch at Pumpkin Grove

The Weekend Pumpkin Patch at Pumpkin Grove has a bushel of harvest fun for everyone! Free admission includes: a very shady midway with picnic tables, The Pumpkin Patch, music, photo opportunities, Straw Bale Mountain, Corn Kernel Pits and children’s entertainment. Tickets are available for: The Fun-Filled Forest with a mini corn maze & fairy village plus Billy Bob’s Hayrides.

Tickets: Forest & Hayride tickets – $8 each or $14 combo for both; Ages 2 and younger are free.

Halloween at Hobb’s Grove

A visit to Hobb’s Grove is sure to fright and delight! It’s creepy, mysterious and promises the ultimate haunted Halloween experience. Attractions include the haunted forest, haunted house, and haunted hayride all with different elements of horror. Buy tickets here!

Hillcrest Pumpkin Patch

The Hillcrest Pumpkin Patch is open to the public all weekends through October 27, 2019 from 10am-5pm. And the train will be running! The entry fee is $10 per carload and is applicable whether you drive in or walk in, so you’re encouraged to pack everyone into fewer cars, to save money and space. During the week, through November 1st, 8:30 am – 3:00 pm, field trips for student groups are welcome. Check out full details via the online flyer.

Monster Mash Dash

California Classic Events presents the 5th annual Monster Mash Dash at Woodward Park in Fresno. Wear a costume and join in the contest! Run a 5k while the kids participate in the Little Monster Dash. All donations support the Central Valley Make-A-Wish foundation. Sign up on the official Monster Mash Dash website.

ZooBoo at Fresno Chaffee Zoo

Get your tickets now! Because this event sells out. Fresno Chaffee Zoo is hosting its annual ZooBoo event. This safe, non-scary event is a great way for families to enjoy Halloween. The entire Zoo will be decorated for fall. Enjoy trick-or-treating, carnival games, live entertainment and animal attractions. Kids are encouraged to dress up in non-scary costumes.

Tickets (For Members) Adults – $16; Children – $14 (ages 2-11); (Non-Members) Adults – $18; Children – $16 (ages 2-11); (Non-Member Day of Event – if available) Adults – $20 adults; Children – $18; Children 1 and under admitted for free
