The Fresno Art Museum, founded in 1949 and accredited by the American Alliance of Museums since 1973, displays art by local, California, and internationally known artists mainly from the 20th and 21st centuries along with an impressive permanent collection of Pre-Columbian art. Most of their exhibitions change twice a year. Their regular hours are Wednesday– Sunday from 11-5, The Museum Store is open 11-4. Be sure to check their website before going as they sometimes have special events or are closed for holidays or exhibition changeover. Located at 2233 North First Street, in Fresno, next to Radio Park.
