ELF the Musical at Roger Rocka’s Theater

Based on the beloved holiday film, this hysterical family treat follows Buddy the Elf as he searches for his true identity. The play is rated PG. Tickets start at $19 for students. Show only: $33 Dinner & Show is $59-$62. Shows started on November 14th and will continue through January 12th. Get a 5 Minute, Private Photo Session with Santa and your little ones. Photo sessions start November 17th. Book your appointment on their website

Paint Some Christmas Themed Art with Pinot’s Palette

Pinot’s Palette is an adult venue, that serves beer and wine, and of course, offers paint experiences. One Enchanted Evening

Enjoy a family friendly, old fashioned holiday open house in Old Town Clovis on Thursday, November 21st from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. In addition to  holiday lights and shopping at local stores, the streets will be lined with shining luminaries and free carriage rides will be offered. Don’t miss out on Free hot chocolate and Christmas themed entertainment  from:

Jingle Jam in the Park

This is a completely free family friendly event put on by Sierra Vista Mall on Saturday November 22, from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M..There will be a snow show, tree lighting, pony rides, visit from Santa, kid’s dance party, holiday crafts and other activities. Christmas Lights

From Christmas Tree Lane, to Candy Cane Lane, and the newest Santa Claus Lane, These three locations will get you in the Christmas mood. Don’t forget the Hot Chocolate! Some neighborhoods will turn their lights on as early as November 25th. We’ve got all the details for you including walking days and location maps here.  

 

Zoo Lights at the Fresno Chaffee Zoo

During the Fresno Chaffee Zoo’s annual Zoo Lights Event, the entire Zoo is transformed into a magical, winter wonderland, fully decorated and strung with miles of holiday lights! Enjoy holiday music, live entertainment, festive treats and beverages for adults and children. The event is open Friday, Saturday and Sunday Nights from 5:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M. Event Dates are : November 29 & 30December 1, 6-8, 13-23 & 26-30, 2019

Free photos with Santa Claus are available between November 29- December 23rd.

Ticket Information: (Children 1 and under are free)

Members: $8 adults, $6 children (ages 2-11)

Non-Members: $10 adults, $7 children (ages 2-11)

The NutCracker -Presented by Valley Performing Arts Council

Presented by Valley Performing Arts Council, The Nutcracker performance will be on Saturday, November 30th at 6:30 pM. at William Saroyan Theater and Fresno Convention Center. Get Tickets Here

 

Holiday Wreath-Making Workshop

The San Joaquin River Parkway and Conservation Trust is Hosting Party for the Parkway #37 (A Fundraiser event that helps support the River). The event will take place on Sunday December 1st at 10:30 AM. Guests will create their own beautiful holiday Wreath, or garland or swag. All materials and an assortment of trims will be supplied. Lunch will be serviced al fresco.  It’s recommended to sign up for this event early, as it does sell out. Tickets are $60 for members, and $65 for non-members and can be purchased on their website. Clovis Children’s Electric Parade

Join the Old Town Clovis Kiwanis in celebrating the holidays with the Clovis Children’s Electric Christmas Parade. Thousands attend this family-friendly event every year to see the lights, marching bands, cheer squads, horses, cars and more in Old Town Clovis. The parade starts at 6:30 P.M. on Saturday, December 7th. The parade route is from 9th street to 3rd street on Clovis and Pollasky Avenues.

Breakfast with Santa at the Fresno Chaffee Zoo

Advanced Tickets are likely required for this event that takes place on Saturday December 7th from 8:00 A.M. to 10:00 A.M. (Seating is limited to 300 guests). Breakfast and Hot Cocoa will be served with Santa at the Kopje Lodge inside the zoo, overlooking the Savanna. Other activities include cookie decorating.

Adult: $22
Children: $15 (ages 2-11)

Non-Member:
Adult: $25
Children: $18 (ages 2-11)

Downtown Fresno’s 90th Annual Christmas Parade

This year’s parade will take place on Saturday, December 7th from 2:00 P.M. – 4:00 P.M. On Fulton Street in Downtown Fresno. The theme this year is decades

Living Nativity

On December 13th & 14th from 5:30 P.M. to 8:30 P.M., Life Cathedral Church of God will be hosting a Living Nativity. There will also be Carolers, a Petting Zoo, Food and Music available. Life Cathedral is located at 6865 N. Maple, Fresno 93710. More
