Get Ready for Grizzly Fest

Next month Grizzly Fest is making its return to Woodward Park. The two-day festival will showcase artists from a wide variety of genres ranging from Hip-Hop/Rap, Indi Rock, and Reggae.

Grizzly Fest Performances

The event is kicking off on Saturday, May 4 with Portugal The Man followed by performances from School Boy Q, Ziggy Marley, and other local artists.

On Sunday, G-Eazy makes his first return back to Fresno since 2016 to headline the final day of the festival. Alongside are performances from Matt and Kate and Young The Giant. More information on the performances and artists can be found on the Grizzly Fest Website.

If you are curious as to what kind of music you will hear at the festival or just want to get into the mood, Grizzly Fest created a Spotify playlist for this year’s festival. The Playlists consists of hits from the featured artists at this year’s festival and can be accessed through the Spotify app or on the Grizzly Fest website.

Tickets

Grizzly Fest is providing multiple options for tickets to choose from depending on what kind of experience you’re looking for. You can purchase a 2-day general admission pass for $130 or a 1-day pass for $75. General Admission gives access to all of the stages, the food provided from local food trucks and restaurants, and a pass to all art exhibits at the festival.

Grizzly Fest is providing two different VIP choices to choose from. Their standard VIP experience includes access to VIP areas with premium bars, upgraded restrooms, shaded areas, and VIP exclusive viewing areas. The VIP ticket will cost $230 for a 2-day pass or $130 for a 1-day pass. If you are looking for an even more premium experience you can purchase a 2-day VIP suite for $489 or a 1-day VIP suite pass for $275. This will give you full access to all VIP privileges with an exclusive elevated viewing suite and shaded areas on their sky deck.

What You Should and Should Not Bring

Regardless of what ticket you choose, it is important to know what you should and should not bring. Many festivals are becoming more strict on what gets through the gates to improve the safety of those at the festival. No outside food, cans, or glass bottles are allowed. You may bring your own empty water bottle up to one liter in size. Most festivals are banning backpacks unless they are clear or are hydration packs. Grizzly fest will allow bags that measure 14″ X 14″ or less and include 2 or less pockets. Hydration packs are also included as long as they are empty upon entry of the festival. Clear bags are not required but strongly recommended.
